Social Benefits of Violent Video Games Research Paper

Social Benefits of Violent Video Games Research PaperThe purpose of this article is to analyze the social benefits of violent video games research paper. Many people who have children (and/or spouse who does not) believe that the impact of violent video games to their children is probably positive and necessary for their intellectual development. However, parents are often unaware of the research findings concerning children that engage in such behavior and the long-term implications that result from such actions. In particular, I will examine the benefits of the violent video games research paper to the adolescent brain and why I think it is critical to parents to be aware of this issue. These are important facts because it may have an impact on the well-being of their children. The research has found that there are a number of signs that show that the brain changes over time. Most notably, studies have shown that a specific brain area for anticipating pain develops. This means that a child who repeatedly gets scolded for something that their brain perceives as harmful (such as being hit or kicked) will start to look for ways to avoid the punishment. As a result, they will develop a defense mechanism to distract them from the pain of being hit.One theory that shows this as a result of the violence in the video games is that the anticipation and avoidance behaviors of the brain are more adaptive to the video game environment. This causes children to behave in ways that are socially beneficial to them and therefore good for their emotional development. Not only do they look for ways to avoid a scolding but they also become very observant of how others interact with others. An important key to understanding the issues of violence in video games is to first identify the reason for it. When a person buys a violent video game it is because they want to test a new skill set that they might need in order to complete the game. They don't mean to harm others, but simply wa nt to improve their skill set so that they can feel more confident and competent at completing the games. These games can actually be very helpful to some children by providing an outlet for bad behavior or showing that behavior is not worth great harm. When parents learn about this fact, they then have to make sure that they provide ways to teach and reinforce good behavior. Otherwise, the negative outcomes will continue.A parent can begin by recognizing that the violent video games research paper shows that engaging in such behaviors is harmful to a child's health and well-being. With this in mind, parents must ensure that they help their children overcome these situations. There are a number of measures that parents can implement to do this, such as enforcing limits on their children and encouraging them to self-regulate their own behavior.Perhaps most importantly, parents should recognize that the best way to help a child's emotional development is to give them a positive role mo del. For example, if your child had a negative experience with peer pressure, one of the things that you can do is provide other children with a positive role model that provides an outlet for the negative emotions.
